Grade 5 Revue

Starting the week of 7-Dec, Grade 5 students will begin working on an artistic revue, combining the visual and performing arts.  The Title of the Revue is Project: Earth (Rocking For The Environment).  Each student will be intensively preparing for the revue four times a week.  Students received notices with their schedule.  The schedule is as follows:

Visual Art with Mr. Martini : Monday  Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Chorus with Mr. Torian: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Movement with Mrs. Makowicki: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday

The performance will be during the day and evening of 11-Feb 2010. Mark your calendars now!  If you have any questions, please contact the appropriate Arts teacher.

Grade 6 Projects

Any sixth graders who need extra time with their projects can come at lunch to Room 156 on Monday or Tuesday

Congrats to all 4th Grade Students on an OUTSTANDING job performing in the Arts EXPO! It was great to see all the learning that you had done about human discovery in the arts and athletics/sports.

Grade 4 Arts Exhibition

Remember the Grade 4 Arts EXPO is this Friday (20-Nov) at 9:15 AM! We look forward to seeing you as the students share their inquiry into Human Discoveries in the Arts and Athletics. Join us as we look at the history of jazz, creation of games and sports, and early forms of artistic expression. See you there!

Recorder Playing Assessment

Mr. Witschy's Grade 4 students will have a playing assessment on the head of "Scoot" on Thursday 5-Nov. Remember, just the first time through the head for the assessment!
